The other day I needed to output a variable to a file but it always was appending a carriage return.
The below code allowed me to output a variable to a file with a carriage return
echo hello > filename.txt
The below code allowed me to output a variable to a file without
a carriage return
echo.|set /P ="hello" > filename.txt
At work recently, I required a simple batch file to create a series of scheduled tasks to automate the updating of our company signatures.
I found the below code to work like a charm.
echo RUN ON LOGON
SchTasks /Create /SC ONLOGON /TN "TASK NAME" /TR "runme.bat"
echo RUN AT 10:25AM
SchTasks /Create /SC WEEKLY /D MON,TUE,WED,THU,FRI /TN "TASK NAME" /TR "runme.bat" /ST 10:25:00
echo RUN AT 1:10PM
SchTasks /Create /SC WEEKLY /D MON,TUE,WED,THU,FRI /TN "TASK NAME" /TR "runme.bat" /ST 13:10:00
Here is the website design for my old Call of Duty 4 Servers. I used to host 3 of them at one point, a long time ago.
Here is another website I was asked to build for a friend. This is for a Private WoW Server and has a lot of the features you would expect from an online gaming community.
Here is another very old website design I found laying around my hard drive. This is the 2nd generation of the NADAsoft Inc. website.
Very simple design involving a fire feel. Still looks very clean and crisp, though old.
This is a website I completed for a client in the hospitality industry. I had to visit the client and work out the specifications with the owner personally.
This is one of my first websites, from the first few years starting. It was a very simple design, but very different from most website styles.
Feel free to explore this old creation and let me know your thoughts.
WoWps.org was my first super large-scale website project. It consists of over 300 sub-forums regarding help across all avenues of World of Warcraft Private Server Hosting, Installation & Support for like-minded individuals.
The website flourished, even though it was known as a ‘slow’ loading website. After initial setup and hosting from my own personal servers at home, it outgrew its first server and needed to be set loose on its own professional dedicated server. Over the years the website has move about 4 times to reach it current resting place.
I have always looked after the entire server myself, from linux configurations, security concerns to web service management and fine-tuning. All to ensure the continual availability of the website and keep the server loading as fast as possible.
Welcome to my new website…
I have had this design for a while and have been meaning to use it for about a year…
and now here it is.. I hope u find this place useful and/or entertaining.. lol
Please note: If you stumble across any unfinished pages, please don’t mind them, as I am trying to find time to add more content…
